More information
Our European grants tool will display more information about available calls, the conditions and deadlines as well as the various events as soon as a call is opened. The tool allows you to quickly filter for the themes you’re interested in and find opportunities for your organisation and goals.
National co-funding mechanisms are also available for certain calls in the Digital Europe work programme. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has published a complete list on its website, showing you potential opportunities for your organisation. The website lists both pending and closed calls.
If you’d like more information about the programmes or require support, contact Team IRIS – the RVO’s national help desk for various European programmes – at teamiris@rvo.nl. If you’re looking to collaborate with international partners, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) can help you find suitable partners at home and abroad. More information can be found on the official EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

More about the Digital Europe Programme
The Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) is part of the European Commission’s digitalisation strategy. A total of 7.5 billion euros of funding is available for the period 2021-2027. The Dutch government has earmarked an additional 75 million euros as part of a ‘national co-funding mechanism’. This co-funding is dedicated to selected themes that are not fully funded by the European programme.
The Digital Europe Programme supports digital projects related to the following six key capacity areas:
- Artificial intelligence (AI), data and cloud
- Ensuring the wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society
- Advanced digital skills
- Cybersecurity
- High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Semiconductors
The calls, budgets, conditions and priorities in the Digital Europe Programme for the period 2025-2027 are set out in two work programmes: the main work programme and the cybersecurity work programme.
The first three themes (AI, cloud and data, ensuring the wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society and advanced digital skills) are part of the main work programme. The theme of cybersecurity is part of the cybersecurity work programme. The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and Chips Joint Undertaking have funding opportunities for High Performance Computing or Semiconductors. These two undertakings receive financial support from the budget of the Digital Europe Programme.
This year’s calls also reflect a number of important changes following an amendment to the work programme from October 2025. Read more here.
